Data Protection

The security of personal data, such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail, is an important matter for us. Therefore we operate our web activities in accordance with laws on data protection and data security. In the following text you will find out which information we collect and what we do with that information.

Personal Data

It is a matter of principle for CeDo that protection of your personal data is of the greatest significance for us. Therefore we do not gather in any personal data via our websites without consent. You alone decide whether you, in the context of a registration, survey etc. wish to submit these data to us or not.
Your personal data are used in general to answer your enquiry, to process your order or to provide you with access to special information or offers. In order to maintain customer relationships it can continue to be necessary that we store your personal data, process them and provide them, for example, to companies within our Group; this is in order to comply with your wishes better or to improve our products and services; it can also be necessary that we (or a third party on our behalf) use these data to inform you about our offers, which are of benefit to your business, or in order to carry out online surveys by means of which we meet your requirements better. Unneeded data are deleted immediately.
Of course we respect your wish if you do not want to let us have your personal data to support our customer relationship – in particular with respect to direct marketing or market research. We will neither sell your personal data to third parties, nor will we market them in any other way.

Non-Personal Data

When you access our websites, it is occasionally the case  that information is gathered on an automatic basis (i.e. not via a registration), which is not attributable to a specific person (e.g useable internet browsers and the operating system; domain name of the website from which they came; number of visits, average time spent within the website, pages called up). We use this information to ascertain the attractiveness of our websites and to improve their content.

Cookies

If you use one of our websites it can be the case that we place information on your computer in the form of a “cookie“, in order to recognise your computer automatically on the next visit. Cookies enable us, for example, to adapt a website to your interests or to store your password, so that you do not need to enter it in every time. If you do not wish us to recognise your computer again, please set your internet browser in such a way that it automatically deletes cookies from your computer hard disk, blocks all cookies or warns you before a cookie is stored.
